These terms explain payment, delivery, cancellations and returns for orders from True West Tiles.

About us

True West Tiles is a Canadian-owned business based in West Kelowna, British Columbia. We sell modular interlocking sport-court tiles for residential use, sample tiles, and pre-configured basketball half-court kits.

Acceptance

By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Products and prices

• All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
• Prices and availability can change. We try to keep the website current, but if there's a pricing or availability error we may correct or cancel your order before it ships — we'll let you know what happened.
• Product photos and renders are for reference. Real colours can vary slightly from your screen, so we recommend checking a sample before ordering.

Orders

• Placing an order through our website is an offer to buy. We confirm and accept the order when we charge your payment and send you a confirmation email.
• We may decline or cancel orders for reasons including pricing errors, suspected fraud, products we can no longer supply, or shipping addresses outside our service area.
• We currently ship to British Columbia and Alberta only. Orders shipping to other provinces will be refunded within one business day.

Payment

• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number.
• Your card is charged at the time you place the order.

No sales tax

True West Tiles is currently operating below the federal Small Supplier threshold and does not collect GST or HST. No sales tax is added at checkout. If this changes in the future, the prices and checkout flow on the website will reflect it before you place an order.

Shipping

• Shipping rates and timelines are listed in the Shipping section of the home page.
• Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Freight delays do happen, especially for full-court kits.
• Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the order to the shipping address you provided.

Returns and refunds

Sample tiles

Sample tiles are non-refundable once shipped. They're sold to help you evaluate colour before a larger order, not as a try-and-return product.

Individual tile orders

Returnable within 14 days of delivery, in unused and resaleable condition, in original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping. Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll refund the tile cost (not the original shipping) through Stripe.

Court kits

Court kits are non-refundable once shipped. You may cancel a kit order within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund. After 24 hours, we can no longer cancel the kit order.

Damaged in transit

If anything arrives damaged, photograph the box and the damage and contact us through the form within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement at no charge.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Stripe. They typically appear on your card statement within 5–10 business days.

Use of the website

• Use the website for its intended purpose: browsing, learning about, and buying our products.
• Don't try to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, attempt to exploit security weaknesses, or use it to harm others.

No warranty

The tiles and kits are sold as-is. We don't currently offer a separate product warranty. Any warranty from the original manufacturer, if applicable, would pass through to you on the same terms the manufacturer provides. We'll publish a warranty policy on this page when we have one to stand behind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, True West Tiles is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of your use of the website or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

Intellectual property

The True West Tiles name, website design, photography, and copy are owned by True West Tiles. You're welcome to share links to the site. Don't copy or republish substantial portions of it without asking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.

Changes

We can update these terms at any time. If we make a material change, we'll note it in plain language at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website after changes means you accept them.
